Shaurya Dridhata Karamnishtha Introduction Following the India-China conflict in 1962, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police Force was established. On October 24, 1962, the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) was founded. It is deployed from the northwestern end of the Indo-China Border to the Tai-junction of India, China, and Nepal, encompassing hilly terrain.
