The search for alien life asks a huge question: in a universe this big, are we really the only living things? Scientists use Probability, the math of chance from Mathematics, to estimate how many other worlds might hold life. But going to space is not just science; countries and private billionaires are racing to claim it, which turns into a Geography problem about Borders and who owns the sky. It even stirs Religion, because finding life elsewhere would shake old Ideas of the Divine and our place in creation.
