Non-Western Philosophy
Also known as Western philosophical tradition, European philosophy
For a long time "philosophy" was taught as if deep reasoning started in Greece, but Indian, Chinese, African, and Islamic thinkers wrestled the same big questions — often earlier and differently. Taking them seriously decenters the quiet assumption that logic and reason are Western property. It connects to Consciousness & the Self (Psychology), because traditions like Buddhism mapped the mind centuries before modern labs did. It meets Motivation & Behaviour Change (Psychology) through ideas like Confucian habit and Stoic-style self-training. And it links to Logic, Proof & Verification (Mathematics), since Indian and Islamic scholars built rigorous logic and math that fed straight into what the world uses today.
